Joaquin Rams (2-0) at Shelbyville Dragons (0-2)

The Rams are headed to Dragon Stadium with a 2-0 start. The Dragons are 0-2, still trying to establish an identity under new Head Coach David Benbow. The Rams’ identity is pretty well defined: we like to pound the football down your throat on offense, and hit people really hard on defense. The strategy seems to be working. Through two games, the Rams have outscored their opponents 92-0, and have outgained them 867 yards to 135. The Rams hold a 12-6 advantage in this series since 2000, including winning the last two. The Rams won last year’s meeting in Shelbyville by a score of 31-0.

Rams coming in with lots of confidence. This is something I feel some of the guys lacked early on this year. Several new guys in new positions but they are beginning to figure it out. Rams coming into this game fairly healthy. Dragons will be pumped because of the local rivalry. I saw where max preps has the Rams as 18/19 in the overall series. This one is always close no matter what their records are.........But not so fast my friend....as Lee Corso would say. Rams continue to roll big. Dragons may figure it out later this year but not this Friday. Rams defense will be too much and the offense is firing pretty well.

I’m ready to come to Joaquin in a few weeks!

How is the visitor stands? Haha

Visitors stands are pretty good for a 2A. Parking is something of a pain, especially since we play y’all for HOCO. Should be a pretty big crowd.

If the fans wanna spill onto the field they gotta walk to the concession stand gate at the west endzone , crawl through their band to get to the other end, or jump over the 8ft fence that's blocking their view. Kinda reminds me of the movie longest yard! Tru-up

It’s even tougher if you prefer to stand on the track ain’t it?

Well I think I will just try to mix in with y’all on the home side... 😂 I like to be setting at the very top on the 50 so I can see everything going on good

You better get there early. Homecoming crowd tends to occupy those seats by about 6:30ish. I would tell you to stop by the tailgate party and I’d feed you a deer sausage on a bun, but I will be preoccupied. I have to put on a suit and escort my daughter in the homecoming court. BTW, does anyone have a size 44 suit I can borrow?

Got one from the Saturday night fever 70's four inch coller and some white shoes to go with the canary yellow suit and white tie.. White snap brim make it stand out in a crowd. Js

I’m always at the games early anyway , I hate walking in trying to find a seat after it’s packed ..

and I understand that! It works out cause I’m on a diet anyway..😜
