The system is broken, and to not work toward a fix, because someone suffered under it and doesn't want solutions for others is just selfish and 'conservative'. Our economy would tremendously benefit, and maybe that spiraling deficit would slow down a bit.

Our country would benefit tremendously if the federal government abolished the Department of Education and passed meaningful legislation to ensure libtard educators were barred from using their political and social bias and influence against students ... or face being barred from the profession  ....

Your only desire is to squelch education that might make others think for themselves, again a plank of the far right, that falls in with attacking the press and all media counter to your twisted beliefs, so quit your muttering on a thread to do with student loans. And take your red hat with ya! 😏

Sad you are in such denial! Sad!

What is truly sad is that you hate President Donald J. Trump so so much that you will tirelessly push the false narrative put forth by Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler et al in the attempt to remove from office the candidate whom 64,000,000 people Voted for; I’ve told you before, & I will say it again... You Really need to seek professional psychiatric help before you drive yourself insane.

If you take away all student loan programs, what do you think will happen with tuition?

Further, what would be wrong with eliminating a lot of majors? I have a hard time believing people spend tens of thousands of dollars on a degree in something that only ends up paying them $35K at the most.

I’ve a suggestion for College tuition.  Only give College loans to folks taking a useful degree.  Engineering.  Pre-Meds, Teachers, etc.  No loans for Art Appreciation, Sociology, Basket Weaving, etc.

First, it was 62,984,828 who voted for him, but like a Trumpite, you got to round up a million or so, but since we are talking numbers, let us say that we should just go by that as a standard for guilt or innocence, which is ridiculous, so we can establish that 65,853,514 should have more of a say, because that is how many voted for Hillary Clinton. Your delusions, your obsessions, your fixations? You're the one who could use time on the couch or a heavy dose of something besides steady bile in your stomach. Sad!

No doubt TDS is a serious mental disease, and easily diagnosed.  If drug companies could come up with a pill to cure it, they’d get rich since almost 66 Million have it.

So your solution to the spiraling debt is to borrow trillions more to put people who aren’t cut out for college through 4 or more years of college so they can get a degree that will be worthless in the job market, resulting in them winding up on government assistance so we can continue spending trillions more to support them because they can’t support themselves? Meanwhile, the high paying skilled labor jobs continue searching for qualified applicants that aren’t available because our primary education system is completely geared towards pushing kids to college while ignoring the need for the skills required in this economy? With that line of thinking, Barry you should sign up to run for the democrat nomination for POTUS. You’ll fit right in with Pocahontas and Crazy Bernie.

And saying she "won" the popular vote is true. I don't think anyone disputes that. But saying that means she should have won the election would be like saying total yards determines the winner of an NFL game.
