It was just 3 months ago Republicans got their but kicked in the mid-terms.  Healthcare was by far the #1 issue of voters.

Source on the healthcare assertion?

RE: the mid-terms, can you show me how many Democratic reps won in red districts? How many Dems won senate races?

I'm trying to understand how you see the mid-terms as a "buttkicking?" Only the most partisan of observers see it as anything more than a draw, at best.

Here is right-wing Forbes

https://www.forbes.com/sites/robertpearl/2018/08/13/midterms/#467a4f1e3667

Dems gained 40 seat in House of Representatives = Pelosi in control

Dems gained 7 Governorships

Dems gained 400 in State legislators.

It wasn't a record , but it was a start.  The Senate map in 2018 heavily favored Republicans, but will heavily favor Dems in 2020.  Republicans had to defend only 9 seats while Dems had to defend 26 seats in 2018

Now go ahead and blame your conspiracy illegal voting in 5..4..3..2..1..  Keep believing this stuff and lose in 2020.  Big pharma raised rates up again on January 1rst 2019 just because they could.  If I can buy Epi-Pens in Mexico for 70 dollars, but get charged 700 dollars in America.  There is a problem.

President Donald Trump is a 3-2 favorite to win the 2020 presidential election, with his odds unchanged following Sen. Bernie Sanders' official bid announcement, says sportsbook brand manager Dave Mason

"There were no changes to Sanders' odds following the announcement," Mason said. "We had it as a foregone conclusion that he will be in the Democratic mix."

Sen. Sanders, I-Vt., raised $4 million in less than 12 hours after saying he would run for the second straight time as a Democrat.

Twelve lawmakers have entered the race as Democrats, including Sens. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., and Cory Booker, D-N.J. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, is also running.

Harris sits behind Trump in the bet count at 8-1 odds and former Rep. Beto O'Rourke, D-Texas, is third with 10-1 odds. Former Vice President Joe Biden is fourth at 12-1 odds and Sanders fifth at 14-1.

O'Rourke and Biden have yet to announce a presidential bid but have hinted at entering the race.

O'Rourke lost to Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, in deep-red Texas last November by just 2.6 percentage points.

Harris is showing 8-1 at the moment, while Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is 80-1.

The same people said there would be a Red Wave in 2018 mid terms.

Show me your article, because all I heard about was a blue wave that was more like a trickle.  They won back the house, but that was based on people being upset that Clinton didn't win the Presidency.  The Senate still remains in somewhat control by the Republicans.  So there was no blue wave.  While some people did say there MIGHT be a red wave, and most of them were opinion pieces there was no evidence that it would occur.  With the Democrats that stand out so far with the 2018 election, I am almost guaranteeing a Red Wave in 2020, unless Trump does something stupid.  I don't see that happening.

People on this website predicted a red wave.  Look at pages 30 and below

Some on here predicted McCain would win in 2008 and Romney would win in 2012.  I felt McCain could have won, but he handled the election with kid gloves.  Mitt Romney didn't stand a chance against Obama, because he basically had the same plan as Obama except for minor things in the debate.  Why switch horses if you're already riding the one that was blazing the same path ?  Trump offered something different, and he won the blue collar vote.

I knew there wouldn't be either a blue or red wave, but I felt as you can see that i thought Republicans would lose some seats.  I knew Beto didn't have a shot against Cruz.  The only blue wave I saw was in Harris county with the judges elections, and now many are regretting their votes down here.  They chose it, but now we have to live with it.

The money that Beto spent was a record for any Senate race I believe. You have that kind of money behind you its hard to lose, he got a lot voters out that never vote. I wouldn't think that many will come out against Cornyn.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) on Tuesday introduced an amendment to the House election reform bill that would lower the voting age from 18 to 16 in federal elections.

"I am honored & excited to be introducing my very 1st amendment on the House floor, an amendment to #HR1, the #ForthePeopleAct," Pressley, a first-term congresswoman who represents the 7th Congressional District in Massachusetts, said on Twitter. "My amendment will lower the voting age from 18 to 16, allowing our youth to have a seat at the table of democracy."

Pressley argued in a succession of tweets that citizens who are 16 and 17 make substantial contributions to America's "labor force and to their local economy through paying taxes."

So the Cons believe that children younger than 16 can get married off but can’t vote?!?  Something sounds a little messed up there. I definitely don’t agree with kids voting that young but I’d say that kids being married that young is a bigger issue.

I don't often agree and I don't know about Cons letting children get married at 16 but being a conservative I don't think 16 is a good age to get married either. You would be pushing the envelop at 18 for me also. I would wait until I was in my 20's to get married after you had a little time to get a good job and visit the world a little and see what is out there.

I STILL wish the group of founders who wanted only property owners to be able to vote had won that debate in 1789........a LOT of our problems would go away if only property owners could vote.......

Then it would be the property value of your property.  The next thing you know is that only a few people could vote.
