7-4 Henderson vs 6-5 Lumberton round 2 of playoffs

Henderson is probably the 2nd or 3rd best team in 4A D1 but like the past 2 years runs into Carthage eventually in the playoffs. Since we can’t get those state titles like they do we don’t get as much credit for being good. We get over looked a lot by people because of not being able to win the region. If Henderson wants to be recognized state wide we have to win next week and the week after or eventually that title in 2010 will look like a lucky accident instead of being derserved for being a state wide power.

34-0 whoever they beat in Bi District must have been terrible like  Kilgore bad

Kilgore would have rolled anybody in 124a, and more than likely anybody in 114a except maybe Splendora. CH and Palestine would be at the top of those districts as well. Most people don’t realize the amount of good athletes and coaches there are in northeast Texas.

Pretty much total domination by Hendo. Lumberton was just over matched. I have to give them credit though... they went for it on 4th down several times...faked a punt...and recovered an onside kick to start the second half. It was just not nearly enough. Lumbertons offense just did not have any "pop". They took the opening kickoff...ran 7:30 off the clock...and only gain about 30 yards lol. Nothing to do now except wait on Van and Splendora

Pretty much Lumberton offense is easy to figure out and That's why LCM shut them out also.  Lets see if im right about Splendora next lol

They only won by five  so splendor probably ain't too tough. Lumberton wasn't impressive at all. Chapel Hill and Kilgore put up a much better fight

The truth is our district top 4 would not beat yall top 3 imo. LCM would probably have scored some but would have lost to Henderson or Van. We only had 10 seniors and gave everyone a game in our district. Heck they had us at the bottom of the district and we still made 3rd. The next couple of years could be a good group but they have to get in the weight room and on the track and get off the xbox to have a chance in the playoffs.
