God’s Healthcare Plan

We hear in the news all the time about healthcare insurance and healthcare plans. God has His own healthcare plan for us. If we were interested in His plan more than in one politically motivated, we would be in much better shape than we are now. Today, we are going to look at several specific aspects of God’s healthcare plan.

No healthcare plan can be better than the doctor who implements it. In God’s healthcare plan, the great physician is our doctor.

Mark 2: 15 - 17

Luke 4: 18

Jesus knows His patient better than anyone because He created us.

Genesis 1: 26 - 27

John 1: 1 - 3

He also came to be made in the likeness of His creation.

John 1: 14

Hebrews 2: 11, 14

Jesus knows each of us.

John 2: 24 - 25

He supplies our every need.

Philippians 4: 19

With God’s healthcare plan, you are not just a number. Jesus has sympathetic understanding of our every need because He went through the same things we go through.

Hebrews 2: 17 - 18

Hebrews 4: 15

God’s healthcare plan treats the worst condition known to man. God’s plan treats sin. Sin is soul sickness.

Psalm 41: 4

No man-made healthcare plan can deal with sin. God’s plan is the only plan that can treat sin. Only one physician can cure us of sin.

Romans 11: 26 - 27

Hebrews 7: 25

Jesus can save us, no matter how badly sin has marred our lives. No sin is too great for Him to forgive.

Acts 13: 38

Colossians 2: 13

Sin is cancer of the soul.

Psalm 32: 1-5

Sin is spiritual heart disease.

Matthew 15: 19 - 20

Sin is infectious and contagious.

I Corinthians 5: 8

Like all serious diseases, sin is always fatal unless it is treated.

James 1: 14 - 15

James 5: 19 - 20

Romans 5: 12

God’s healthcare plan gives us the cure for sin. The Blood of Christ is that cure. His Blood washes away sin.

Matthew 26: 28

Ephesians 1: 7

His Blood justifies, His Blood saves.

Romans 5: 9

Romans 3: 24 - 26

God’s healthcare plan has the potential to cover all humanity. While all do not accept it, everyone needs it.

Romans 3: 23

Sin is one illness that no one can get over by themselves. No one can self-medicate sin away. Evil gets worse in this world. Sin is pandemic.

II Timothy 3: 13

God’s healthcare plan is designed to be preventative as well as curative. God’s will is that we no only are forgiven for our sins, but that we strive to the best of our ability to stop sinning.

I Corinthians 10: 13

II Peter 2: 9

Matthew 6: 13

We are much better off resisting temptation than we are in needing more forgiveness for our sins.

The importance of God’s healthcare plan is that it is the only healthcare plan for the soul. In this plan, Jesus is the only spiritual physician.

John 14: 6

His blood has done what nothing else can do.

Hebrews 10: 3 - 4

Hebrews 10: 11 - 14

There is salvation in no one else but Christ.

Acts 4: 12

God’s healthcare plan is no better than the use it gets individually. Unlike one made by government, God’s plan is not mandatory. God won’t force His plan on anyone. Men accept it, or not. Before His remedy works, however,  it must be taken. Before we can get rest, we must come to Christ.

Matthew 11: 28 - 30

We must eat before we can be filled.

John 6: 35

Obedience is required.

Hebrews 5: 9

God’s healthcare plan results in eternal life. This is because His plan heals our soul from sin.

We all die of something eventually. No other doctor can offer eternal life. Christ offers us eternal life.

John 4: 13 - 14

II Timothy 2: 10

What is in God’s healthcare plan that is the remedy for sin? The word of God must be heard in order to generate faith.

Psalm 107: 20

Romans 10: 17

Faith is required.

Hebrews 11: 6

John 8: 24

Every sinner must repent.

Acts 17: 30

The penitent believer must then be immersed in water.

Acts 22: 16

Romans 6: 3 - 4

The Blood of Christ is the complete and lasting remedy for sin.

I John 1: 7

Finally, we all eat things and do things that are not healthy for us. The same is true in God’s Plan. We will continue to sin. In  God’s healthcare plan, we find the remedy for sins committed by us after we have become Christians. That is repentance and confession of sins in prayer to God.

Acts 8: 22

I John 1: 9

Don’t you want to take advantage of God’s healthcare plan? Don’t you want salvation for your soul?
