DocAcs15 9
I don’t think Pitt’s depth was an issue like everyone thought it would be. Legs looked pretty fresh at the end of the game.

I watched the game on the internet, it was PI, and the announcers even agreed. He completely cut off his route not having a clue where the ball was. And don’t start with the adopted stripe family, Pitt got a huge penalty and scored after Jimmerson was sacked for a big loss. ALL of the personal fouls were good calls. I can honesty say I didn’t see the recovery, so not arguing that. So your saying it wasn’t defensive holding? Just for the fun of it I will watch the game again. But you do have a right to be wrong on the PI on 19. It wasn’t.

The game didn’t come down to those penalties. There were 2 INTs and one for pick six, that was the difference in that game. Pitt could not get running game rolling, and take away that pick six, and they walk out of there winners. Way too many variables in that game to blame officiating.
Sportsguru02 125
I think the play calling was the issue Pitt coach would really run up the middle on first and second down and be in third and long

Hawknation03 226
Tip my hat to the Pirates! This was one of those games where you felt the loss of Jackson. Jimmerson wasn’t hardly touched and he made the Hawks pay for it. The Pitt receivers had some serious YAC. Bruce Garrett is just a beast! Tough as nails. Pitt shredded the Hawks secondary even when we knew it was coming. I stand corrected on Pitt. They are indeed a much better team than I thought. 4th qtr drive for PG was textbook clock killing. Almost 7 minutes on that drive. Great job by all of the players. What a great game! Made the miserable drive in the rain worth it. GO HAWKS!

Landon’s absence was felt in this one. Burris is solid but we simply cannot get pressure on QBs without blitzing!
Nonothing 102
Congrats PG. Pitt is obviously a solid opponent but 41 points scored on PG...what happened? That is not good...

When they were in open space they were nothing short of almost impossible to tackle. Not since Atlanta had the Grove given up 40 points. I am not impressed with # 23 on the Hawks don’t know what happened to 21 but #23 looks like he is scared or something.
