Bullhead44
Who has a better chance to win it all, Newton or Mart? Or Better yet, can any one stay within 40 of either of these teams the rest of the way?
CarthDawg77
Newton Part 2; Unlikely.....
darktower
I will say Newton simply because I think they would have a great shot at moving up two divisions and still win it all and would compete well ( I didnt say win because I think carthage and a select few others would wear them down) in third division up.. I don't know that Mart could do that but I don't see anybody beating them in their division.
supermaroon
Both don't think anyone can beat either team in their classifications. Someone MIGHT get within 40 or mart but not Newton.

dogs3505
Mart could win it in 3A II if they had a few more players their depth would be an issue. They could win it there IMO.

Everide2016
Mart is a lock. Probably Newton too, but nobody is taking out Mart unless they get a really, really bad breakfast gameday morning.
blesseddaily
The only reason I picked Newton was because of their depth. Injuries/sickness can kill a smaller classification school but I think Newton is pretty safe because of the numbers of quality back-ups they have. I don't think they could beat Newton this year.
JasperDawg
Is Mart ranked #1 in the nation in their division? The "Purple Beast" surpasses being #1 in division. In the entire USA they are #1 among small highschools. That's all I got to say about that.
CCBulldog9
Both are locks but you guys talking about Mart beating Newton are crazy. Newton could very easily be in the 5th round in 4a D1 right now. No way they’re on the same level
