Best way to experience the Tx HS Football  Championships IMO...for fans and players.  3 games a day for 4 days...whats not to love?  The kids get to play in one of the top venues in the world.  I typically go Friday and Saturday for the 4a - 6a games...this year I may go Thursday to catch the 3a games...here is the broadcast schedule for those not traveling:

AT&T is the best location for it. I have been every year. State at NRG didn't feel the same and nowhere near as many fans came to the games. It just didn't feel like state to me. I live in the Houston area and would still rather drive the 3 and a half hours to AT&T instead of the 45 minutes to NRG.

Never been, no canine in the race, only drawback i see is that some fans of the teams playing might not can afford to go and pay for the trip.

It's really not much more then any of the nicer stadiums for tickets plus u can watch 3 other games that day at no extra charge. Only bad thing about it and this is any big stadium is the cost of food and drinks if you was to stay all three days that would be the expensive part

I guess it is like other things, you have to make a decsion on what is important. I know if it was my son playing i would find a way. Memories you carry for a life time. I remember Doug Busch told me one time that playoffs are icing on the cake, take those kids to the best stadium you can.
