Bclove05
Sam doesn’t look right to me. Of course 8 sacks doesn’t help with that.
regaleagle
He's performing as well as expected.......he can only do so much in a game like this. They are covering for the long ball.

regaleagle
If it was a one-score game......he would have a better chance to move the team and more options.
ETXfan16
If Texas wins out we see OU in December. I’ll be looking forward to that match up with both teams healthy

regaleagle
I'd say Sam and the offense did a good job that drive.......pretty impressive against this OU defense.

DB2point0
After missing the onside kick it’s imperative to get a loss of yardage and the defense stands flat footed and lets the RB cross the LOS to tackle him. No aggression at all.
regaleagle
Good game for Okie.......they have a good team for sure.

regaleagle
I think Texas did pretty good on offense despite not having as many opportunities as Okie. They did put together some crucial drives when asked to......but the Texas D remains problematic.

The offensive line got whipped up front and that was the difference in this game.

The defense just got tired in the end.

ETXfan16
Well, gotta run the table. I think we will see a rematch in December. I’m not discouraged, I just think Texas came out very lethargic. Could be injuries, but who knows. Gotta wake up tomorrow and focus on KU. Hookem!
Lhornfan
I don't care what level football you're playing, if you keep giving up leverage outside (D Gap), you're going to have a hard time winning. Texas wants to do it with their OLB and DBs. That's fine, but those guys keep running to get hands on the blocker and get hook blocked almost every time. Same goes for DLine stunts. If your moving outside, you've got to keep contain. We didn't do it, OU did it perfectly.

The offense can only score on maybe 50% of their possessions IF they are playing a lesser competition. They put up 27 today against a very good team and that was not enough. I don't know what you expect to see out of the Horns offense against a team like OU has.
