DB2point0
Hopefully the D won’t get passive with a lead. They need to stay agressive

I just hate the way it feels everyone seems to so badly want to ditch Ingram. I think RJ has just impressed so many people this year that it seams Ingram has taken a back seat. But Ingram has been solid this year as well. Their games compliment each other so well.

That's when he's at his best. When he gets too patient behind the line it doesn't usually work out. And that may be what he's being coached to do. Whatever the reason, tonight's performance should be pointed out during film how much better he is NOT being overly patient in the backfield. Lhornfan
And there you go. He did not piddle at all in the backfield. He saw the play and used his speed.

ETXfan16
That’s the run I love about Ingram that RJ doesn’t have yet. Ingram has patience and good vision, RJ is explosive and goes vertical in a jiffy. That’s what I mean when they compliment each other. I love it

cotton84
Ingram has 98 yards according to ESPN. For the heck of it, I hope he gets one more carry for at least 2 yards.

I do acknowledge you say he isn’t terrible and do genuinely appreciate that. To me he’s not the best back on roster.
Red90fly
Ossai with 3 sacks tonight. He'll be going after the QB full time next year like tonight nstead of dropping into coverage 90% of the time like Orlando had him doing.

Red90fly
Texas gashed the #1 rush defense with 231 rush yards with an average over 6 yards.
DB2point0
I’m not getting too excited about this win. To me, Texas was supposed to win this game in that fashion. Utah was missing 3 starting DBs and Texas athleticism owned their young guys. The offensive gameplan was a little better than the past 5-6 games, but it seemed like Texas just won many individual battles due to having better athletes. Texas will miss Johnson and Duvernay tremendously next year. IF Texas utilizes more 4 man front next year their defense will be really good. They played extremely physical on the defensive side of the ball. They were bringing the wood tonight
Valhalla
Herman just needs to treat every game like a meaningless bowl game then he will be set.
Sportsfanatic1
I've done got to where I don't pay attention to P12 teams. They don't play anything. But good win for UT. You could tell Herman was calling the plays.

JustAFan11
Great win and great way to finish a frustrating season. February 6th we flush 2019. 2020 is Big 12 Championship or bust.
Red90fly
How's this class looking to finish? Collins and Dixon? Some sites think Texas can get Princely back. Not sure what else. Probably wont be a top 5 class with not taking as many as others.
