Based on their gaudy record and just the fact that they beat Duncanville, somehow, early in the year I was expecting something akin to the Madison teams from a few years back, but nah. Both the Dallas schools struggled yesterday with their northeast Texas opponents, and Faith Family was crazy lucky to survive their contest with 18-15 Pleasant Grove. Silsbee played like Yates has in the Regional Final the past couple years IMO. Also: Yates gets buckets. I told Silsbee ppl this for a whole week, they saw it today.
