I’d only trade him for a jaw-dropping pitcher They can always trade Reddick and that would open up a spot for Tucker if they want to give him another shot this year. I think they will not do this but I was surprised to read about Reddick could be used in a trade.
THSfanatic
Just don’t buy it. I love Reddick but he is way overpaid. Nobody’s gonna pay it IMO

THSfanatic
Yeah. Bieber is really good. Hope we don’t blow this in the 9th like the 1st in St Louis

topher805
Bauer traded to the Reds as part of a three team deal with the Padres. IF Houston makes a trade, I figure it will be Ray, Wheeler, or Bumgarner. Astros wont part with Tucker for Snydergaard.
THSfanatic
Wheeler would be my pick of these. Any would help though

topher805
Kemp to Cubs for Martin Maldonado. That puts Stassi or Chirenos on trade watch. I'm expecting one or two more trades today...

topher805
Astros add Toronto reliever Joe Biagini Stassi supposedly off to the Angel's but nothing official. Waiting game to see if anything happened at the deadline...
topher805
A little tidbit on Biagini. Curveball is has a spin rate ranked in the 88th percentile, meaning it moves, a lot. He only throws it 7% of the time. Strom is going to have fun with this kid... As a whole, none of the key contenders for better. Astros still in the drivers seat... topher805
Astros also pick up Aaron Sanchez along with Biagini from the Blue Jay's. Only gave up Derek Fisher from what I'm reading...

topher805
Seth Beer, Josh Rojas, Corbin Martin, and JB Bukaskas going to Arizona. Beer, Martin, and Bukaskas are our #'s 3, 4, and 5 prospects respectively. That is A LOT to give up. By by gawd we kept Kyle Tucker...
THSfanatic
Yep. That is a lot of minor league depth. But Martin just had Tommy John. This was expensive but now when we lose Cole (and we will) we won’t be hamstrung. And NOBODY can match us on paper 1-3 this year in the playoffs Whitley has an electric start last night in AAA BTW
Wild74
Did I read where Maldonado turned down a two year 12 million dollar contract with Houston before he left and ended up signing a 2.95 million one year contract after he left Houston. He may be a good defensive catcher but his financial genius leaves a lot to be desired.
Wild74
Greinke has a $31.5 million salary this year as part of a $206.5 million, six-year contract. He is owed $32 million in both 2020 and 2021, and gets a $2 million bonus for being traded. Woo we he is expensive
