Monte1076
I was thinking about this today. I know many of you like the draft the way it is. But what about these changes? 1. After the Super Bowl, set aside the 12 teams that made the playoffs. Those spots are picks 21 - 32. 2. Do a "random" (lottery-style) organization of the other twenty teams. This would allow for 2,432,902,008,176,640,000 different possible ways that the top 20 could be listed. 3. Still allow for previously-agreed upon trades (i.e. if a playoff team made a trade in a previous year that gets them the #15 pick, they show up at 15 instead of, say, 24). Do this just for the first round.
TheShadowKnows
No need to change...lottery picks are for NBA teams because of the lack of character in the NBA
DaveTV1
Keep the draft as is. Even if a team tanks as Indy did a few years ago.
Stoney
Keep it as is. I don’t like the rigged NBA lottery. Could you imagine if Brady retires, Patriots go 8-8, miss the playoffs and then wind up with #1 pick who happens to be a Peyton Manning level prospect? Jerry Jones would riot.
Hayseed
I vote keep as-is too. And hey, why no poll?
