OHHHHHHH so when it benefits a side to say place X is GOP or DEM use that, but when it doesnt claim something else......

I think every city on the list is dem controlled arent they?

Most of them.  Local governments are not job creators.  Government is not job creators period.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH but when it comes to unemployment I bet we would see people going after a list that had these cities on it and claiming dem cities.

Look it is a fact that we have become so partisianed that we look for things that show either dem or gop in the light we want and fail to look at the real substance behind it.

I look at political action that stimulates growth.  Deregulation is one of those things.

Now, there are two economies in this country.  The ones made of words and the ones that involve creating “stuff.”

The ones involving words such as media, education, social media platforms, etc etc, seem to be under the protection of government.

However, the economy of “stuff” that everyone seems to want is often under the heavy hand of the government.  That seems to be a bad economic practice.

You are about to see these social media platform and education both come under a more serious attack by governmental powers that be.  This will also be a bad economic practice.  We are seeing conservatives silenced on social media now. Media outlets are losing credibility. Public schools are losing the best and brightest to private schools.

These things need to be thought about.

Government, whether it’s my party or yours, needs to do what they can to help foster growth, then get the hell out of the way.

Ok but you claimed cities do nothing for job growth and states do, so wouldnt it be logical that cities that are GOP controlled and in GOP states would be in top part of list? I mean it would make no sense to have a city that is dem in a dem state #1 right?

It does make sense.  Many of these cities are already some of the largest in the country.  So it would make sense that their numbers would be higher than most others.

You have to take all factors into consideration.

Take HOUSTON for example.  The oil field corporate Mecca of the US.  The refining capital of the US.  The largest natural harbor in the US.  Hell yea they are leading the nation in job growth.

Dallas metro is one of the the fastest growing cities in the country.  Has the tech and medical stuff going on.

Both counties are blue, Harris and Dallas.

Man look at all those dem cities.......

It also helps the California and Illinois regions that many of them are moving out of the State to Texas, which opens up jobs in both of those areas.  Check the loss of population in California and Illinois, and you'll understand.  Houston and Dallas continue to grow in population, and Florida does as well since the taxes are far lower there.

and the govt assigns contractors for the jobs.

Tell the workers their paychecks are worth less.

The government can’t even do that right.  When a contractor gets a government contract it’s like winning the lottery.  We’ve all heard horror stories of 100 dollar staplers and 1000 dollar toilets.  The oversight is freaking awful.

Either way, the government didn’t create that job.  All they did was appropriate the money.  They are horrible at that because they don’t know what they’re doing.

All those law and political science majors are horrible at business.  Just look at our national debt.  Lol
