As far as I've heard, Carlisle is gonna mostly be working guys in at old positions and moving guys back to old spots and getting all the underclassmen up to speed. We knew coming into the season that we lost a lot of talent in key positions and it would take 3-4 games to get the youngsters and acquisition's up to playing speed. Got a couple more that become eligible before district so we might whipass for that 4spot... We call dibs on it, yall leave it alone. How else we gonna git to SA, unless it's 1/4... Lol

Always want some of SA, season wouldn't be complete without that square off... Besides it would be interesting to say the least. Oh, by the way, hicks is looking good, yall got yall a good’n.

I'm just messing with ya.  We went 0-2 and won state in 03.  Its still early.  A win will do yall some good.

West fuels Alto to 45-0 romp over Timpson

TIMPSON — Harmon West probably slept like a baby Friday night.

West racked up 11 tackles, four tackles for loss and a quarterback sack on the defensive side to help propel the Yellowjackets of Alto to a 45-0 victory over Timpson on Friday night in Timpson.

But wait; that's not all West did.

As quarterback of the Mean Sting, he tossed four touchdown passes and ran for another as Alto (2-0) totally dominated the Bears (0-2).

Skyler Atkins was on the receiving end of scoring strikes that covered 12 and 37 yards, respectively. He finished with five grabs for 75 yards to lead the Alto receiving corp.

Other defensive standouts for the Jackets were Cayle Irvin (11 tackles, 2 tackles for loss), Foster Hall (8 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks), Todd Duplichain (5 tackles, 1 sack) and Jackson Howell (5 tackles, 1 sack).

The Yellowjackets return home Friday to host New Diana. Friday's game will also highlight Homecoming 2019 activities at Alto.
