In honor of CFB’s 150th birthday, let’s try a best of list. Feel free to add your own.

Best Coach   Saban

Best Player  Johnny Manziel

Best Team   2007 Florida

Best Rivalry   Bama/Auburn

Best Game  2018 A&M/LSU

Best Dynasty   What Bama has done in modern football with scholarship limits is unmatched. OU and usc have good runs as well, but Bama has put it together better in a tougher time when more parity is in the game than ever.

Most Memorable Play  I don’t have one for this.

Most Memorable Heisman Winner     Johnny and it’s not even close. Because of his style of play and his off the field fame.

McCarron to T.J. Yeldon to beat LSU in ‘12... or the “Rally in Death Valley 2.0” Blake Sims to DeAndrew White to beat LSU in ‘14.... or Jalen Hurts coming off the bench to beat UGA in the ‘18 SEC Championship Game... or “The Play that Changed College Football” Antonio Langham’s pick 6 to beat Florida in the inaugural SECCG in ‘92.... so many choices, so little time.

There’s something familiar about these picks but I just can’t put my finger on it.

If you were going with the straight Alabama one then the Kick 6 has to be the most memorable play.
