Since we’re two days away from celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing, here’s a little positive old news from my hometown. It’s on FB, so I took a screen print. Had to cutoff the top pic, showing Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin in the Mobile Quarantine Lab with John Hirasaki, an Engineer & graduate of Vidor (57 I think) & Lamar University. He spent 21 days in Quarantine with the Apollo 11 astronauts. I graduated with his younger sister, Ida, our class Valdictorian.
