Hendo did not move the ball to well against Paris in the Regulated scrimmage. Paris moved the ball all over Hendo. Paris struggled moving the ball against PG with the exception of 2 big plays. PG had over 300 yrds on the ground on Paris. If Hendo could not stop Paris rushing attack then it will be twice as ugly against PG. Hendo could not run on Paris D then they will have a tough time running on PG. If Hendo goes to the air the QB better be able to deliver the ball on the run. Because 40 and 44 will be all over him.

I hope you aren’t basing Henderson’s ability on a scrimmage?  Henderson never looks good in scrimmages.  Ever. We always get blown out in scrimmages. Every year.   Then we got 4 rounds deep in the playoffs.  We never run anything special and always very basic on D.  We don’t run our offense, always basic. We barely run our 1s in scrimmages.

Yeah you really can’t base anything off a scrimmage. Those scrimmages are just ways for coaches to look at different kids. There’s no gameplan, no scheme and no reason to expose your best players to injury.

Certainly a possibility. This is not the PG mentality. They play a lot of starters in scrimmage games and analyze what needs to be worked on. A starter can be injured in practice! You certainly do a lot more subbing but you want that 1st team to get the experience and you want them to play and practice Full Tilt! Hendo can certainly beat PG or any other Team. They are top 10 ranked for a reason and just to be clear they are good. Turnovers plagued PG last year against the Lions. It was a close game. If PG holds on to the football they Win!

Kinda OT -

I'm looking at the satellite view of the stadium at 700 Lion Street in Henderson.  Doesn't look like much parking is available.  Is that an issue or is there actually plenty of parking?

Looking forward to his game - go Hawks!!

It is 100% better than it used to be.  Visitor bathrooms and concessions are as well.  There are two lots on the north end of the stadium that offer a good bit of parking.  If those are full the grassy area in front of the Middle School will hold overflow.  You can park on Lion Street at certain points from Smith St to the Stadium too if you get there early enough.  Last there is a rec field south of the Stadium below Montgomery Elementary that will hold a bunch of overflow also.  It’s not a bad walk from there and you can get out of the traffic on the way home.

Still early in the season so you don't really know who is going to show up from game to game and it is very hard to draw conclusions from scrimmages.

However, PG did win last year and basically the same team is back this year (older, bigger, stronger, and better) so it's hard to go against them.  Playing on the road helps Henderson - but I'm expecting the offense to be better in week 2 because I believe that Paris is a much better defense than Henderson can roll out there and the PG's defense will be much better than what Henderson saw last week.

PG 31-16

"Stop the Run"  sorry you can only hope to contain it. Henderson will not stop the run from PG.
