They took away areas of the West Side that always went to JT, like across from Jones Elem and all of the Spur near Lindsey Park. areas where JT got some of their athletes from. For whatever reason, they made Lee zone bigger even though the majority of Tyler population is in its area. Not JT fault that the kids in south Tyler go to other schools outside of TISD. But if and when parents start back sending their kids to TISD, its going to be like always where Lee has 300-500 more kids than JT.
