Texas High needs to put some strength to their non district. Texas High will get in this year with wins over Poteet, Sherman & Wylie East for sure. JT, McKinney North & West Mesquite not real confident they can beat them Good luck Tigers many believe Poteet is a lot better than West Mesquite. Tigers should beat Sherman and Wylie East. Hendrickson is young, Arkansas High is very young, Liberty-Eylau is even younger, Kilgore is unbeaten. Hopefully, Texas High will be in an East Texas district the next two years. If they do get in an East Texas district, they will be the largest school. In their current district the range is 279 kids from the previous snapshot, Tyler 2153 to T High 1874. For 5A D2, District 8 ranges from Ennis 1665 to Terrell 1197, 468 kids. District 9 ranges from Nac 1756 to Lindale 1154, 602 kids. They are currently in a district that has a closer range of students than the other two 5A Division II districts. It will be interesting to see where the cutoff moves for the next alignment.
