DaveTV1
Unbelievable two 70's and 80's icons in the music business in one weekend. I will admit, I was sort of jealous of him. I never knew how some guy so ugly could score big with his wife. I know he and Paulina separated in 2017, but they never divorced. Farewell Ric, you will be missed :
CarthDawg77
The only “Rock” concert I ever went to, & it was awesome... Rest In Peace, Rick.
Hookemhorns88
RIP Rick. I loved The Cars. I listened to them all of the time growing up. Went to their concert in Austin at the Frank Erwin Center in either 1987 or 88 while I was a student at UT. "Let the Good Times Roll".
DaveTV1
I knew him and Paulina had separated in 2017, but it seems she was still taking care of him to a degree. https://www.aol.com/article/entertainment/2019/09/16/the-cars-frontman-ric-ocaseks-cause-of-death-revealed/23814006/ . At least that rules out suicide or drug overdose. I had never heard of him using drugs in the past, but I'm sure he might have.
Mr. P
I liked all their hit singles and videos, but Drive was my favorite. It's still on my regular playlist today. Such a soulful pop song. R.I.P. Ric Ocasek and Benjamin Orr.

I would love to hear the music they're making together right now.

No doubt. I always felt that Orr was the better singer of the two, but Ocasek's ability to compose catchy hooks was without peer.

Very nostalgic for me.
