Saw him in a scrimmage earlier this fall and he was simply impressive.

He'll put up Rodney Thomas type numbers in our district...But he's no Rodney.  I can see him taking ME to round two though.  Been watching him for a few years now.  He has always been a good back, but I don't see D1 in his future.

If y'all want to see some funny stuff, go watch his highlights on HUDL. Kids literally shy away from hitting him. He's a man among boys it would seem. But you can see several instances where the kids just... try not to get in his way lol. Looks like he's definitely a handful.

He has offers to Southern Miss and Wyoming. D1 is definitely in his future.9F892D80-CCB0-452E-82C6-32D2908651A3.png

Already has D1 offers.

So I was a little late with that 😁

Baylor has also shown a lot of interest!

I believe the team forfeited last Fri so Mount didn't play. I have no idea on the reason. Was either numbers or the weather. Burkeville is where the flooding was.

Burkeville gave  no reason.

Just didn’t want to play.

Mount secured two turf fields and they still wouldn’t play.

Wow. That wouldn't fly here lol. Just forfeiting is crazy.

Burkeville is struggling to field a team.

So, Is he better than the Pope kid that went to SMU?  How would compare the two?

When comparing, keep in mind that Kevin Pope was in a district that was pretty tough. Joaquin went to semifinals his senior year. Tenaha was Tenaha. Beckville had good teams at the time. Joaquin’s defense held Pope to less than 60 yards. But he was a stud, no doubt about it. I’m sure the Miller kid is as well.

Wasn't too many years ago Mt E forfeit a district game with Tenaha.

Don’t compare kids to each other. Often times completely different teams and schemes and even skill sets. Celebrate each of them. This young man is a stud regardless of competition or if he has a single D1 offer.

Well that would make a difference. That's sad though. Hate to see anyone struggle to field enough players for a football team.

Great in the open field but I'm curious to see how he handles contact. Last year he didn't care for it much from what I saw. He won't see it in his district but come playoff time he will. There is something about that D1 contact that make a lot of studs shut it down.

Weighed 185 last season..

210 this year- different player this year.

98% of smoaky folk wont understand what 25 pounds of growth means on a skill position player.
