Golfingnut Posted September 28, 2019 Share Posted September 28, 2019 I say safety. Looked like the runner made the step to elude the tackle by taking his whole body back into the endzone. WestRusk2009 Posted September 28, 2019 Share Posted September 28, 2019 Safety imo. The runner did break the plane but crossed back in on his own before first contact. At first contact to determine forward progress it all goes by the location of the ball not the player unlike a kick or punt would. The wing guys in the stripes should automatically at the snap move from the line of scrimmage to the goal line and they could determine if the ball was outside the goal line.
