I agree. EF may have the better athletes this year. Waskom has the better coaching staff. EF will be out-coached in this game just like they have in all the others the last 5-6 years. If I recall, that is similar to what was said about the 2016 Waskom team? Is this year's Waskom team comparable to the Waskom's 2016 team in that sense? What is your thoughts on this year's Waskom team and 2016's? Not insinuating the game will go like 2016 because EF doesn't have the team they had in 2016 this year. I am just asking for a comparison. Thanks Waskom team this year is different in a few aspects, we are little and don't have the super fast backs like the past. They are speedy but when they are hit they go down but they are all young and have a couple to three years to increase speed and strength. The team that your talking about that went 4-7 and got slaughtered by Newton had a few left on the line but the backs was all new. There was a group of 10th graders on that team that became pretty good once they became seniors but only good enough to go two rounds. We are starting TK Hamilton's brother at fullback and he is bigger than TK right now as a freshman but not near the speed as TK. I look and hope he becomes a very fast fullback in the next two years, with the offense we run you have to have that option in the middle. We have a very big JV line all freshmen that should make a big difference in the next two years. Now after saying all of this I hope our coaching staff stays together to make all this happen they know those kids better than I do so all I can do is set back and watch. HAHA yeah but I was thinking different since a lot of the scores came from annuals and there was none in these particular annuals there may have been a little shame in losing to EF so they didn't post the scores..... Can the new defensive coordinator come up with a plan to stop Waskom? This style of run heavy offense has been EF's kryptonite the last couple of years. Can the players take what the defensive coordinator tells them and put it to work on the field. That's what I think will be the key factor in this game.
