Has someone compiled a list. Where do we go check others, in comparison.

Doesn't seem as much interest as 2 years ago.

Over on the 6A Texas football forum, someone has started compiling a spreadsheet. He doesn't have everything but he has several down to 4A, but not much after that.

DCTF has posted everything that's out there. It's just behind a paywall.

I thought I saw 2200 for Longview so that’s a bigger gap than I thought.

Stepp reported 2,220 at one point, but then the Longview ISD twitter came out and tweeted 2,186.5.

We're likely for 5A D1, unless the cut off drops somehow.

Idk last time we played in d2 our district was leon hearne marlin ( all 3 2a now) buffalo lexington and trinity (3ad1)... Im thinking maybe franklin lexington rogers buffalo new waverly and anderson shiro would be the district

Back in the day 20 years ago, this district was Franklin, Rosebud Lott, Rogers, Somerville, Lexington, Thrall, and Hutto.  Class 2A.  My how times have changed for some schools and not so much for others.

Just my two cents.

If your 4A numbers are correct, then there will be some serious changes.

In 4A D1 District 5, China Spring - 851 and Gatesville - 853 both drop….leaving just 3 teams.

No changes in District 6 as they are still within the range of 4A1.

District 7 would lose Celina – 849, Sanger – 776, and N Lamar – 741. Sanger and N Lamar are both dropping anyway with their numbers. Leaving possibly 4 teams

District 8 would lose Dallas Carter – 1139….Dallas Hillcrest is moving up with 1374….leaving 5 remaining teams.

District 9 would lose Quinlan Ford – 821 (2018 number) and Waxahachie Life – 742 is dropping anyway. Crandall - 1314 will move up. Leaving 3 teams.

District 10 would lose Carthage – 824 and Van – 747 is dropping anyway…leaving 4 teams.

_____________________________________________________________________________

4A2 District 5 would lose Caddo Mills- 520. They are on the bubble regardless…leaving 5 teams

District 6 has no changes – 5 team district

District 7 has no changes – 5 team district

District 8 could possible lose 3 teams…Fairfield – 504, Lorena – 505, and Mexia – 508(2018 number)…leaving 4 teams

District 9 could lose Cleveland Tarkington – 510 and Huntington – 495…leaving 3 teams

District 10 has no changes – 5 team district

I think this is why re-alignment is so interesting because of the number of moving pieces that are involved. The 857 cut-off may be a little high. I think Celina for sure does...Carthage is going to be close to make the cut for 4AD1.

I just hope our numbers are accurate from DCTF and the cutoff numbers don’t drop too low like some on setx are saying

Padilla doesn’t have it dropping. If there’s one person I trust in the TXHSFB world, it’s him. He even predicted Greenville being added to our district in 2014.

I just went and read that. I’m sorry but that’s BS. 6A has kept that same number of school for 6A for a long, long time. Just randomly wanting 275 out of no where with no announcement and there already being a gigantic enrollment gap being the largest and smallest schools in the class? Don’t buy it one bit.

I wonder what DFW forum they are talking about

According to Padilla the cooper bulldogs will be dropping down to 2A a lot schools right around the area will be interesting if they do what the district will look like. If we drop im thinking something like, Cooper, HG, Wolfe City, Celeste, Rivercrest, Como, Boles and maybe Trenton and/or Tom Bean. Some combination of 6 or 7 of these teams. If we stay up they probably send us east with Dekalb and PP and company its been a long time since we went that way.

I understand all that. I just moved the numbers the same as last realignment. Could be down. but at minimum i'm thinking the floor of 4A D1 is 825-830. Because from 16-18 to 18 -20 there was a plus 67 so if you just go plus 35 roughly half. you get the 825 number.
