I’m good with Tatum being at 11 for now. Jones’ leadership will be hard to replace and fortunately he’s the only one that needs replaced from a team that reached regionals with freshman and sophomores.

I’m shocked Sabine isn’t in the top 25. We lost our 2 best players but will still be good.

Whatever happened to Nac bball program? They used to be pretty good but i haven't heard about them in years.

I don't know if Nac has ever been that great in basketball. I can't remember them making any deep playoff runs (but memory isn't as good as it used to be..lol). But they haven't been terrible.  I remember the James kid that went to UT and played in the NBA.  They have a 6'9 kid on their team now that is going to SFA.

Sulphur Springs seems to be the class of Big school East Texas right now, which is still a shock, but good for them.  JT used to be the top dog of East Texas, but they have fell off.  very good Freshman class coming up though, if they can pull them off the football field..lol

Can’t speak for Atlanta but basketball is year round at Tatum.

Hmmm ... that I've not heard before (at least out loud) ... kinda of surprising considering the past history.

Expections musta changed ... or there's a new Dr. Sheriff in town.

Or there’s basketball only players that play year round and have their own “off season” during athletic period.

2 years ago Nac went 3 rounds deep, last year they were district co-champs and ran into #2 Lancaster in the second round. Only lost to Lufkin in district last year.

Watch out for Mt pleasant Chapel Hill. They’ll be pretty good, got a good move in and their best player last year got injured and was out for the season in the first game. They were down last year but can make some noise

They still be chapel hill and the politics or entitled attitudes of dem folks will dappen the enthusiasm.

oh Ok.  But that is still only one deep run.  I guess I have no room to talk because Nac's program is better than JT right now.
