Nothing like living on a aircraft carrier. It was an amazing experience. After school I flew to VA and they flew me out on the GW in a Cod plane. That was a hell of an experience to get started. Being part of launching and recovering aircraft never got boring, loved every minute of it. Their families, their well-being, their sanity. I wasn't in the military myself, but my grandfather was vet, and my cousin did multiple tours in Iraq.
