Horrible QB play, three procedure calls in Q1 resulting from not getting plays called timely, first run call not until 3rd possession.  Hard to overcome these issues.  Is king a D1 QB is the SEC?

Not saying they can evaluate talent as well as you, but about 5-6 SEC programs offered him. So there’s that

Folks we have been privileged to watch historic games and seasons under John King.  Y’all should have been watching 82 through 96 and then some.  I remember when making it to the second or third round

Especially after years and years of 1937 being thrown around and constantly being told that we'd never win the big one (all of this mostly coming from fans of programs currently sitting at home).

1. Coaching  The coaching is top notch, and there is low turnvover at Longview. Coaches come and they stay, I mean Coach Wilson (RBs coach) has been at LV since the 70s. Many others have been at

Great run Lobos, proud of the young men for the last three years. Haynes looked mentally and physically exhausted last night. Good luck on your next adventure. Kudos to all the seniors nothing to be ashamed of. Be there rooting for the team next year. Go Lobos!

I think this team was exhausted due to  fact that they weren’t loaded, especially in the senior group offensively.the Oline had a 5-11” 200 lb left tackle.went from 6-7” 290 lbs to that size. Not good in 6a. Wr group was below average for 6a.itwas an overall average oline , good QB,1 good rb and awful wrs. Defense overall was good. Not sure but this finish is about right fir this team.too many mistakes, sloppy and had to be perfect to move on and this team didn’t have that group that just willed themselves to win. It’s ok.  Great run Lobos. Looking forward to a new group!

Congrats to Longview on a great run. Most teams would be happy winning more then 6 games (us in Nac) but Longview did something most teams can not pull off. I believe this is only the 2nd loss since Waco midway. I’m sure come next year Longview will win state in 5A.

Heck of a run Longview over the last few years. Pretty sure everyone is shocked over this loss. If you’re not somewhat surprised you’re lying lol. I also don’t understand people that want to come out and start bumping their lips toward Longview losing this game. Knowing they wish their program had this type of success. Nonetheless, congrats on a good season.
