They were 2-18 the last 2 years and won the district and a play offs game this year. I second this. Phenomenal job he’s done.

justafan
Y’all act like Waskom was bad. They tied with EF and Diana for 3rd 4th and 5th. They were just young. To say they underachieved to me is an understatement. You think they should have beat pewitt or daingerfield?? I don’t think so. The dist was pretty close. Dekalb beat the 1 seed. I was just saying after the Waskom loss EF could have folded the tent.

514
Coach Angel Palestine. The job he did in that district and winning a game in the playoffs. Not a lot of people saw that coming.
Fblife13
New diana coach to me hands down. He has made that program really competitive, when just 5 years ago it was a guaranteed 30 point win,and was like that for a long time. Until now. 1 1
supermaroon
Because of the Cooper connection I go with Angel for the Coach of the Year, all the other guys you mentioned have done a great job as well and are very deserving just going with a kind of homer pick. Bclove05
Honestly most people knew Sabine was going to have a good year with what we returned. If somehow we make it a couple more rounds then I would put Sharp in discussion.
