The biggest damage is to our political process. For example let’s look at a possible scenario. Biden wins in 2020. Republicans gain control of the House in 2022. Biden is facing impeachment charges for quid pro quo with the Ukraine. If Trump is impeached, it only makes sense Biden will be impeached. And around and around we go. DaveTV1 Posted December 14, 2019 Share Posted December 14, 2019 I don't think they have enough votes in the House to impeach President Trump, and that's why the vote was called off. There's no way they will be able to if the Republicans aren't allowed to call in witnesses. This is just a stonewall they've put up.
