Five straight stops by Marshall and missed front end of free throws was almost the Panthers downfall. However, they hung on made a clutch three and a couple free throws in the end for the win but not because Marshall didn't try to take it from them. Mount Pleasant played Whitehouse back in December. Tigers won 54-47 Lindale and Nacogdoches have not faced each other this season Lufkin and SS have not played each other this season. J.T. was a playoff team going into the season every year. for many yrs, JT was the best basketball team in East Texas I know there are teams in east tx in the lower classes with more playoff success..so what I mean is that for well over a decade, If you put JT against any team in East Texas (all classes) on a yearly basis, JT would be almost a sure bet to win.
