Lufkin did their best down the stretch to blow that 12 point lead.  Five straight stops by Marshall and missed front end of free throws was almost the Panthers downfall.  However, they hung on made a clutch three and a couple free throws in the end for the win but not because Marshall didn't try to take it from them.

Congrats to WH.

put a beat down on JT last night.  I think JT was down 20 in the 3rd qtr.

If that ain't enough to bring about a change, then nothing will.

That’s going to be a tight squeeze for this game.  Jefferson is so close to Marshall they may as well have played at Mav gym.

Curious decision.

Must have agreed on a neutral gym and flipped between Jefferson and Atlanta. I agree if it was a coin toss, should have been home and home. The

I couple of re-matches in the playoffs for the men:

Marshall and Texas High played back in December.  Mavs won 63-60.

Mount Pleasant played Whitehouse back in December.  Tigers won 54-47

Lindale and Nacogdoches have not faced each other this season

Lufkin and SS have not played each other this season.

When I was there and after. J.T. was a playoff team going into the season every year.

for many yrs, JT was the best basketball team in East Texas

I know there are teams in east tx in the lower classes with more playoff success..so what I mean is that for well over a decade, If you put JT against any team in East Texas (all classes) on a yearly basis, JT would be almost a sure bet to win.
