Solid list as usual. It'll go up and down all year, especially the first 4/5 games. First will be GV/koff the first game of the season. I can see some on the tail end makng their way up the list. Really surprised of how many Troy, Wall, and Rockdale return.

A few thoughts:

Region I

I do believe this is going to be Brock's to lose.  I could have easily put them at number one, but I had to give the nod to Grandview at this point.  I believe Grandview will need to be just as good in 2020 to beat Brock in the semis if it were to happen.  Wall is going to be Wall and could be improved this season.

Region II

With Grandview moving in, it makes this region just that much more difficult.  Gladewater, Pottsboro and Malakoff are all the top 10.  Madison appears to return a ton and don't sleep on Fairfield.   Just so many quality teams here.

Region III

With Grandview moving out, this opens the door for several teams.  I put Troy at 4 simply because they return the MVP, which ran over everyone in the district last year.  Rockdale returns the house and should be improved. Adding the likes of Hallettsville and Columbus make region III very deep.  East Chambers has played Grandview tough the past few years and returns a good amount of talent.  Add in teams like Cameron, Crockett and Lorena, and you have very tough field.  We will see if Diboll reloads or rebuilds.

Region IV

Who knows what's going to happen here.  I was well-prepared to have Hallettsville as the top dog, but the UIL moved them over to region III, along with Columbus, which won the region a year ago.  Jourdanton, Industrial or maybe even a Comfort could come out of this one.  Even someone like Lago could surprise if they reload.

You forgot to put Fairfield in top 10 and Pottsboro should be #2. You along with all the other guys that do rankings rank wall way way way to high every season. West Texas football in 3A is never good enough to sniff reg 3 or now reg2. Also never put a reg 4 team in top 10 ever

Honestly Grandview is the only one that no one would want to play... I dont think Cameron, Rockdale, Troy ect are worried about the rest of the field

They are probably the best in that region but I don't think they will be as good as they were last 2 years

I think region 2 will take it this year. There is several top notch teams in this region.

It’ll be interesting to see how G’View handles a Dallas Madison, Jefferson, Tatum type of team with their speed. They haven’t seen that in region 3 the past couple of years. Yes EC, but that’s one team and both times, there were other elements involved that levelled the playing field.

Considering Pottsboro played G’View closer than anyone in region 3, and Pottsboro playing 2 other region 2 teams down to last play of game... I’d like to think there’s a little more to region 2 than you think.

That is true but potts brings back? They will be reloading its still Grandview then everyone else

Not just Potts, but Gladewater, Malakoff, and a few more. Also, Potts brings back as many impact players as G’View. Grandviews 3 LBs that are graduating accounted for what % of their total tackles? Good luck replacing that l.

Yeah but most of grandview line got hurt during the season and alot of back ups played... They wont be hurting as much as you think
