trueblue82 Posted February 23, 2020 Share Posted February 23, 2020 I’ll post winners as soon as they’re announced. I was told that the winning team weighed in 40 pigs totaling just over 3900#. A team that weighed in 23 pigs at 2300# did not finish in the money. Sounds like they may have put a small dent in the pig population of northeast Shelby county this weekend. All together, 13 teams harvested close to 150 hogs totaling about 17,000lbs. Congratulations to the following winners: Dog division: “Old Boars” won heaviest hog and heaviest stringer of 3. Thermal division: “Swine Crew” won heaviest hog and heaviest stringer of 3. Longest stringer: “Swine Crew” with 35 eligible hogs. Longest cutters: “Show Me Your Cutters” with a measurement of 2.75” Thank you again to everyone that competed! Also, a huge thank you goes out to the McFadden family for a wonderful pot of gumbo! To the officer team and members that helped with check in and weigh in, thank you! We appreciate everyone’s support of our program and hope to see you at next year’s hunt!
