Bipartisan Hatred for One GOP Congressman

It’s all funneled thru the fed who we don’t even audit. Not only that, it’s still 2 trillion dollars. All massie was asking for was a vote. And didn’t even put up that much of a fight. Massie is a really smart guy who has a lot of common sense. And by no means an ideologue. Very practical.

In actuality, what a big part of the fight was over was that the funds WOULD be audited, and there was going to be a vote, a voice vote, and he simply threw a wrench in to make things much more difficult for other congressmen, who were trying to follow recommended guidelines by the CDC. The current GOP hard core seem to thrive and welcome contentious, pointless acrimony and worship jackasses by their level of mindless truculence. That doesn't translate to good governance, which we desperately need. Explain how you think this man is a 'really smart guy who has a lot of common sense'. Can you give me examples of his practicality?

In 1992, Massie won MIT's then-named 2.70 ("Introduction to Design and Manufacturing", now named 2.007) Design Competition.[7] MIT professor Woodie Flowers, who pioneered the 2.70 contest, mentioned that Massie watched this contest on television in seventh grade and wanted to come to MIT to win this contest.[8]

In 1993, at MIT, Massie and his wife started a company called SensAble Devices Inc.[9] Massie completed his Bachelor's degree in the same year and wrote his Bachelor's thesis, Design of a three-degree of Freedom force-reflecting haptic interface.[10][11] Massie was the winner in 1995 of the $30,000 Lemelson-MIT Student Prize for inventors,[5] and the $10,000 David and Lindsay Morgenthaler Grand Prize in the sixth annual MIT $10K Entrepreneurial Business Plan Competition.[12]The company was re-incorporated as SensAble Technologies, Inc., in 1996 after partner Bill Aulet joined the company.[9] They raised $32 million of venture capital, had 24 different patents, and 70 other employees.[13]

Also in 1996, Massie completed his Master's degree (SM) and his master's thesis was titled Initial haptic explorations with the phantom : virtual touch through point interaction.[14]

not a joe Biden by any stretch.

This is what he said it was over, I would trust the man himself before what ever source you just regurgitated.

It’s pretty clear now, with enough members here to pass the bill, that Pelosi and McCarthy are still working together to block a recorded vote just to insulate members of Congress from ACCOUNTABILITY.

Biggest spending bill in the history of mankind, and no recorded vote? #SWAMP

It was a unanimous vote in the Senate, and when you have an issue like this to face, the vote count doesn't matter, if it is two or three 'principled' souls. It is obstructionist grandstanding, self involved nonsense. He could have chosen not to show, at all, and gone on home to assess the needs of his home state, rather than drag this out to make some point.

He’s not obstructing, he’s making our congressman accountable by putting there name on a vote. Like they are supposed to do by their own rules. They had enough people there. Put your name on it yay or nay.

“The Constitution requires that a quorum of members be present to conduct business in the House. Right now, millions of essential, working-class Americans are still required to go to work during this pandemic…Is it too much to ask that the House do its job, just like the Senate did?”

Casinos shouldn’t get shyt. They love taking others money. Let them see what it’s like to be taken to the cleaners. Government should comp them a buffet to make them feel better like they do their patrons.

Can you Imagine what it will be like once the casinos open back up? It will be like the lottery; NOBODY wins!🙄

If I go I’ll sit at the penny slots. Get hammered by those stout free margaritas. Do my best to get slapped by a cocktail waitress with her puppies hanging out. I feel like a winner when I stumble out.

Yes and maybe slip by Superiors and have a couple of them bad boys. It's over for me when I leave there.

Casinos forced to close by the gov should get compensation from the gov. Just like unemployment for individuals that the gov cost them there jobs.

Hell to the naw. Gambling is a vice. Non essential. Hookers need to be bailed out as well I guess. Can’t give a bj with all this social distancing.

They employ workers, they give the city great tax revenue. They were forced by the gov to shutdown, therefor they are entitled compensation. Whether you like casinos or not.

prostitution is illegal. Big difference.

🙄it’s called a damn joke. I’ll debate your azz on anything. Casinos don’t deserve 🍆. Sure I feel for the workers, but guys like Steve Wyn? Hell no. They’ve ruined enough lives by preying on people’s addictions. Don’t be a damn smart azz. Your almost as bad as some of these liberals.

So the gov shuts down tobacco industries or alcohol industries. They don’t get compensation? What other non essential industries that provide vices don’t get money?

also is the reason they don’t because of the “vices“ they provide or because they have enough money already? One way you’re a totalitarian and the other your a socialist. So choose wisely.
