For those who love the Constitution

not only is there a right to vote in the Constitution, but it’s the single right that appears most often in the Constitution’s text – five times in all.  In fact, four separate Amendments – the 15th, 19th, 24th, and 26th – even use the same powerful language to protect it: “The RIGHT OF CITIZENS of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged . . . .”

So having a law that demands proof of citizenship to ensure illegals don't vote is voter suppression.   Demanding voter ID prior to voting is voter suppression.   Great ideas if you want to make voting, & those elected a joke.

It has done one thing for me.  Brought back the idea of seceding.

I love it when people think they know more about the Constitution than the people who are sworn to uphold it...

All one has to do is read it, along with other founding documents for context. They're all readily available.

Seems some folks prefer voter fraud than proper behavior. At least they’re are consistent.

Only those on the left want any and everyone to vote. And while some think the Constitution is a living document, in some areas people might think that is true, because through the amendment process you can change the Constitution, otherwise, it is simply put out there--and anyone that can read--should be able to understand it. But then again, reading comprehension for some comes from the MEDIA!!!!!

People have to show ID and have proper documentation to drive, register vehicles, and get married. Hell you can’t hunt and fish without the proper documentation. It’s to much to ask that why people are picking and choosing local, state, and national leaders to have some kind of proof they are a citizen?

Apples and oranges

You don’t have to prove you are a citizen to REGISTER according to the law!  It says nothing about VOTING! That’s what the process is for. Your registration is or should be reviewed by the state or election board and ruled ineligible. That how the process works. This ruling is about registering to vote not voting.

Plenty of dead people vote blue .Oh wait now you want facts and data ....

Exactly, there has only been one or two cases of voter fraud in the last twenty years in Texas. Call The gov as he will confirm. Thanks

Texas knows better and haven’t voted wrong since Johnson was President.

You might want to do some research on that.  I could do it for you, but you're wrong on that.  Texas was a blue state in the 70's, but there were many racist people in Texas at the time.

There wouldn't even have to be an election board if we were required to show our ID.  That would remove the cost of even having an election board.  Prove your a citizen, and you're good to go.

There's been more than that just since the last election alone.  Good grief you people love creating your own realities.

Aka doesn’t fit your narrative

Exactly.  Having to show id to buy booze and smokes no biggie but ask for one at the voting booth and it's "that's racist! and an unacceptable hardship."  Spare me.

Proof of voter fraud please. Unless it’s millions don’t reply. Thanks

So It is okay for 1-999,999--cases of voter fraud, but unless it is a million you don't care. Considering that most local elections are won and lost by thousands of votes. But then again, what would you expect out of a liberal. And then saying that it's apple to oranges. SMFH  Liberals!!!!!!

In the 2000 election, Bush won Florida by less than 1,000 votes.

VOTER FRAUD ALERT: The @TXsecofstate discovered approx 95,000 individuals identified by DPS as non-U.S. citizens have a matching voter registration record in TX, approx 58,000 of whom have voted in TX elections. Any illegal vote deprives Americans of their voice.
