High school football: State champion Refugio may have to play entire schedule on road

I'd consider cordoning off the main stands they're having problems with, use some quality temporary fencing, set up temporary stands on both ends of the old stands and even in the end zones if needed, but I'd do all I could to play at home.  Plenty can stand of the fence line too.

The West Wusk Waiders had that problem and were able to scheduled most of their home games at Tatum Eagle Stadium.

Tatum enjoyed having them.

Is there another Stadium near by they might be able to use. if conflict sat. game.

Yes, then we passed a bond and built current stadium.  Hint, hint.

1. Ore City had to do this when they got the new stadium. The old one was torn down before the new stadium was ready. Made for a long year.

Refugio had to play 13 out of 15 on the road in 2017 due to Harvey damage (1st game was canceled), & still made it back to Arlington to try and defend their 2016 Title. So, it’s not like these same kids haven’t done it before. I don’t know why the media is blowing it up now. Seems like every few days it pops up again. I know this, it isn’t a big deal to the kids and coaches there.
