Asking for an ID in which 97% of people ( I made that up but I figured very high) is not really that much to ask. There isn’t people out there disqualifying your vote especially based on color . Most polls station actually want you to vote because a lot don’t.

Just think about all the things you need an ID for anyway. Setting up a bank account? ID. Want to get a job? ID. Buying alcohol or cigarettes? ID. Getting on an airplane? ID.

There are many other examples.

Using an ID in this country has been part of the system for decades. I understand that some elderly people might have lost some of their belongings in the past, but that shouldn't be a reason not to have an ID--because lots of people and organizations will help them get one. But on the other hand, showing one shouldn't be a problem. Unless you have something to hide. I would think that everyone would be proud to show their ID to vote, a great American right.
