'Most Protests Were NonViolent"

Some perspective regarding the scope of protests and rallies...and I denounce violent protests or destruction, as do most who are involved with the movement for racial justice.

‘The United States is in crisis’: Report tracks thousands of summer protests, most nonviolent

About 93 percent of the racial-justice protests that swept the United States this summer remained peaceful and nondestructive, according to a report released Thursday, with the violence and property damage that has dominated political discourse constituting only a minute portion of the thousands of demonstrations that followed the killing of George Floyd in May.

The report, produced by the nonprofit Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project, also concluded that an escalation in the government response to protests and a sharp uptick in extremist activity means the United States faces a growing risk of “political violence and instability” ahead of the 2020 election.

ACLED, which monitors war zones and political upheaval around the world, launched the US Crisis Monitor report with Princeton University’s Bridging Divides Initiative. Using media accounts and other public information, the report identified 7,750 protests from May 26 through Aug. 22 that were linked to the Black Lives Matter movement. The protests took place in 2,400 locations across all 50 states and the District.

These people should be held without bail until a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation can be conducted to determine their sanity & likelihood of repeat offending & taking more innocent lives. The blood of all of their victims is all over the hands of the liberal judges who release them to kill again.

See, there's some word trickery going on here.

What exactly is a "violent protest", Barry? Our Constitution allows for the right to "peaceably assemble" and to "petition the government for redress of grievances". Apparently, Chris Cuomo doesn't know that, because he actually asked, on air where it says that the protests have to be peaceful.

That doesn't mean "cause riots and burn things to the ground and call it a protest".

What's a "riot"?

What's "looting"?

Sad that folks try and justify violent criminal behavior.  I just read that Jeffrey Dahmer was 95% nonviolent.  So if you do the math, Dahmer was 2% less violent than the democratic protesters.  I knew dems were some sick ####, but this just proves how sick.  It is now proven that dems are 2% more violent than serial killers!

Come on Barry, you know that everywhere, it's that 5-8% of problem people that make up the rules for the rest of us. Just like in schools--5-8% are the repeat offenders, causing all the other students to have to follow a bunch of weird rules. Same here--it's the 5-8% that have turned this country into a divided nation. It's not the President doing these things, it's local and state officials that ARE NOT protecting their local citizens. You know that, I know that--but it seems as though many of your thoughts and comrades are the ones trying to blame a President. I don't remember blaming obama for the riots in St. Louis--after that "supposedly" hands up kid was shot--which we now know was a media LIE.

Hey, and as long as the protests are peaceful, I believe that people should protest. But when it becomes violent--it's time for the police to step in and arrest them.

How many Trump supporters have killed folks vs Liberal nut?. Your meme doesn’t make sense.

It's because I think he really doesn't understand that Conservatives and Republicans aren't really the fascists here.

That's the bottom line.

I find it ironic that Antifa is actually using fascist techniques.

Most were, until they weren’t.
