Someone will collect their first loss Friday night when the Rams take on the Rebels at Ore City. The Rams opened up with a gritty 8-6 W over Beckville, before pummeling previously unbeaten Groveton 41-0 last night. The Rebels edged out Redwater 21-18 to open the season, then manhandled Big Sandy 41-14 last night. The Rams hold a 4-0 lead in the series, including a 35-14 win at Ore City last season. That score is a little misleading, because that game was close at halftime before the Rams pulled away late. Who do y’all like in this one?

Ore City Student Council is doing a promotion at the game for the visiting Ram fans only.

First five Ram fans with a full set of teeth, get in free. Must provide proof of Shelby County residency though. 😂🤣😂

As if Upshur County folks have any room to talk. What did your mama say when you and your sister told her you were getting married?

That's what gives me room to talk, lol. Both counties equally "have concerns", lol. Like looking in a mirror and making fun of yourself, lol.

Married? Nothing that formal. Only common-law here. 😁

Hey, we’re the classy end of Shelby county. We starch and iron our BOCEPHUS T-shirts before church.

How kind was the Louisiana pipeline to Joaquin this past offseason?

It helped out tremendously. We were told that the Bouchée twins were 3 year starters at ILB for the Bayou High Swamp Dragons, but at 5’3” 144# each, they look like they are still growing into their bodies. However, they came with some fringe benefits. Their mom, Vicki, hired on in the transportation department and now the team bus will go 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. Their dad, Bobby, has taken over the hydration program, and is teaching our water girls some stuff about “high quality H2O” whatever that means. And if we can ever actually play a home game, their grandmother has promised to take our tailgate parties to a whole new level.

I’m going to take that as a yes.
