DannyZuco
But yet they force teachers and students back to work. Because the mandate states that if you do NOT have enough computers and internet for ALL of your students to be online--YOU MUST open your doors for students and in school learning. While I would rather have a conservative in office, most every other situation--this is one area where all of our leaders are wrong. Either there IS a pandemic, or there IS NOT a pandemic!!!! Make up your freaking minds.

DannyZuco
Just now, BoHogg said: Reading where staff at one ISD they TSTA has filed a grievance against the district for unsafe conditions. Haven't heard that yet, but this is a right to work state, so it won't do a lot of good. If I wasn't so close to the Metromess, I wouldn't worry about it. But there are people out here that drive into DFW daily--and I am 42 miles outside of Dallas. OH BTW--Go Stars!!!!!!

They have had a major outbreak in that prison , and very little protection early on from the virus. The inmates and correctional officers are really close quarters. So the soldiers spouses got infected at work, and took it home to their family , and Ft. Hood itself. The prison and Ft. Hood is not counted in the county's total. as of today per KWTX.COM The Texas Department of Criminal Justice Wednesday was reporting 268 active cases involving inmates and 40 involving employees at the Christina Melton Crain Unit in Gatesville where 849 inmates were on medical restriction and 270 were isolated; 18 cases involving inmates and 65 involving employees at the Alfred D. Hughes Unit in Gatesville where 1,072 inmates were medically restricted and 22 were medically isolated; four cases involving employees at the Mountain View Unit in Gatesville; eight cases involving employees at the Dr. Lane Murray Unit in Gatesville, and one case involving an inmate and four cases involving employees at the Linda Woodman State Jail in Gatesville where one inmate was medically isolated
