88YoePride Posted September 20, 2020 Share Posted September 20, 2020 So now thanks to Minkah Fitzpatrick the truth has come out. The Steelers players did not vote to put Rose's name on their helmets - it was a decision by team management and the league - and in fact were not told it was going to be Rose's name or informed of the details about his death until right before the game. Once the truth was discovered, Markice Pouncey also stated he would not be wearing Rose's name on his helmet. Considering this and Tyler Eifert's choice to honor David Dorn, it's going to be interesting to see if more players buck the league's directives on this issue. By the way, huge props to the Bengals and Browns for a more respectable display. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
