In the first of the Rams’ “first ever” meetings this year, the Clarksville Tigers will visit the friendly confines of Ram Stadium. Ol’ TrueBlue has searched his vast knowledge of Joaquin football history and can’t find a single instance where these two schools have met. This will be Joaquin Homecoming 2020, and OL’ TrueBlue hisself will be on the field escorting his youngest daughter in the court presentation ceremony during pregame. A mulligan in the District 10AA D1 thread pick’em contest will be awarded to aanyone who correctly identifies Ol’ TrueBlue. Now to the game: the Rams come in on a roll, with consecutive blowout wins over Groveton (41-0) and Ore City (37-0). The Tigers started off 2-0, but have now dropped back-to-back games to Tom Bean (18-12) and Prairiland (51-21). Can the Blue Tigers right the ship and get a win in a very tough place to play? Will the Rams put together a complete offensive and defensive performance? Will Clarksville just go for it on 4th down all night after seeing Cole Bragg’s punt return TD from last night? Will the weather cooperate and finally allow the Rams to get in their home opener? Will the ladies be able to contain themselves at the sight of Ol’ TrueBlue in a suit and tie? That’s a lot of questions for the poll.

I’m more concerned about us getting out of this one with no injuries. We got some Bulldogs coming next week that look kinda hungry. We need to take care of business Friday night and not fall into our HOCO trap.

Quick, someone tell the Rams they used to be bad in the 90s. You know, when the head coach was in elementary school and the players weren’t born yet. Anyone? Crickets finally? FINALLY? #Feelsgoodman

Yeah we know...
