Hooks @ Pewitt

Both of these teams have had a disappointing season. Both were looking forward to a good season. Paul Pewitt at 1-2 is ok and scoring 54 points vs allowing 118 points is a problem. Hooks at 1-3 and average 13 scored and 39 points allow is extremely disappointing.

These teams really need to step up to challenge Daingerfield, Newton, Waskom and others in Region III.

Pewitt should win, but either way it will not be an upset.

Hooks started the season with an injured running back and in the Mt. Vernon game our quarterback went down with a broken arm before taking a snap. Both of those players are our best players, so it made it hard for our offense to move the ball, especially against the quality opponents we played. Both played against Redwater and we had some success. I look for the Hornets to get better and this game will be a battle just like the last few years.

Broke his arm and is back four weeks later playing QB? That’s impressive

Injuries, grades and girl friends...they can be deadly. The kid with broken arm will not be ready until week 8 or 9. Hopefully, y'all will still be alive at that time.

He played last week with a broken arm. He will be playing again this Friday as well.

Dude, he played in the game against Redwater. Why would you post something that you don't have a clue about? He played QB and Safety with a hard cast and helped tremendously.
