I am very excited we are able to play!! Missing the scrimmage and week 1 was going to make district even harder.

Boswell is 6a-D1 their size alone is going to be a challenge for us not to mention we haven’t practiced in 2 weeks.

thoughts?

I think just playing is a small victory at this moment.

We could wait till next week. We haven’t practiced since the quarantine and one day of practice isn’t enough to me. Hey I get what the coach is trying to do. I really don’t care if we win or not I just want them to come out healthy.

That hurt lol we trying to get there. I just don’t see us with one day of practice no scrimmage going on the road and playing a team with more depth and game time and win. It could happen but I highly doubt it.

That one was left wide open, I had to take it haha.

As you said, I think it's going to be extremely difficult to go up there and grab a win with that little preparation. Pullin for the Dragons though!

That is an interesting move, since that would have still given you time to play Lufkin, on Saturday if necessary.    Lufkin just made the deal with Nederland on Monday.  ????

Much shorter drive too.   Oh well, we'll deal with it next year.

Not sure the logistics, but the game fell in our lap late yesterday afternoon. Not sure anyone thought Saturday was an option.

I have no idea if there was a conversation with lufkin about Saturday or if we just didn’t think it was possible until the last minute.

The players and coaches just want a game. This is their scrimmage and season opener all at once. They are looking to play during their current bye week oct 16th as well.
