Whitehouse comes town undefeated after defeating Forney, Royse City and Corsicana.

The Dragons have had an interesting start to 2020, losing their 1st 3 home dates to COVID-Legacy Scrimmage, Greenville week 1 and Tyler High Week 3. They replaced the games with road games at FW Boswell and Bryan Rudder.  The Dragons slipped by Boswell on 1 day practice and the fell to Rudder on their homecoming night.

This will be the Dragons first home game and the start to district play. Considering what the Dragons have been up against so far, they have not played bad.

Whitehouse leads the all time series 6-12 and have won the last 4 in comeback fashion!! Beating the Wildcats is the first step towards this program entering the playoff picture in 9-5A.

While we can pass the ball pretty well. We haven’t been able to run the ball. The mistakes in special teams and the flags hurt us last week. Idk who number 5 is for rudder but he needs a scholarship to a D1 school he did the most damage against our D. We need to win this one seeing that we’ve had Whitehouse and let em off the hook the past couple of years.

Could be better but still that’s on limited practice and not really knowing your opponent well.

Was NAC out of timeouts? Who punts when their behind with time running out

To this day that whole play still makes me mad. Stories differ on the timeout situation. We had a timeout to call. Some say he was trying to and never got it. Idk 🤷 all I know is we had that game won. Like most of the other district games besides Marshall. We just couldn’t get out of our own way.

We were in our normal defense, no one on the filed saw the player by the side lines because he never came inside the #'s. Coaches were running down the sideline to the officials and didn't get the timeout. While that one play did cost us at the end, we had other opportunities to win the game and made mistakes. Fumbles and penalties while in scoring position helped take the chance away.
