Gramps50
Well once again another terrible game plan. Not sure what is up with the coaching. Trying to take on this offensive line with 3 down linemen most of the game. On defense never making an adjustment with basically 3 plays ran over and over off the left side with no answer. The offensive line has got to be the worst Marshall has had in many years. If there is any talent there it’s not being shown. Even Hallsville and Mount Pleasant at least put points on the scoreboard against Texas High. Without a mobile QB Marshall’s season is over before it starts. It really appears not only the players but the coaches have give up. So sad and not the Marshall Maverick way.
SiriusDogon7
Quote I do not understand why the Marshall HC milked the clock the entire first half. I could maybe understand the philosophy for maybe a quarter to see if you can get up on THS but other than that it was total domination by the Tigers. If not for the interception on the end around pass in the first quarter and Cellars dropping two TD passes the game would have been much worse. At least Marshall served great chili dogs at the concession stand on the home side.
Matt
Wow. I figured THigh would win by 3 or 4 scores.... but Marshall doesn’t score?
Mavchamp
We have zero offensive identity. The offensive line is getting gobbled up. We can’t block for the ball runners. We can’t protect the QB. Penalties killing us. Seems like we’re confused. Seems like we don’t even know what kind of offense we want to run. It changes week to week. The Jekkyl and Hyde show continues. The offense continues to put the defense in crippling positions. Seems like we are struggling more and more as the season progresses. Always expected improvement. Road doesn’t get any easier.

Thigh had some big dropped passes but Marshall’s defense played a lot better against the run in the 2nd half. RB showed he can break one on a couple plays but tbh Marshall oline was in trouble most of night.

I've been saying the same word this season over and over when it comes to our offense... LAZY.
