Will post quarterly updates on the North/Sherman game.

Will say I can’t wait for Longview to visit this stadium. This is my 6th trip here already and it’s such an amazing facility.

If North is anywhere near this chippy against Longview like they have been tonight, it’s gonna get ugly.

17-3 Sherman leads McKinney North after the first quarter. Bearcats fumbled the ball near the end of the quarter, setting up North deep inside Sherman’s territory.

We just lost power here at the stadium. It’s 37-35 Sherman with 2:25 to go.

Both teams in the locker room. Transformer blew outside the stadium. It’s pitch black in here minus the emergency lights. They said they were gonna try and finish the game but...who knows if that happens. I’m hanging in another 15 min then I’m checking out.

Heading home. They’re busing both teams to Ron Poe Stadium to finish the game out.

Sherman knocks off McKinney North, 44-35.

Likely Longview and Sherman both finish 4-1. But Lobos only losing by 5 as opposed to whatever the max is will probably be the difference in seeding.
