The games against UT and OU may not be the "biggest" games on everyone else's schedule, but they will most certainly be a focus due to the fact that we are the new kids in town. I've watched his tape, he's certainly very talented and well-coached, but I don't think he's head and shoulders above the pack. I have not seen him play other than a few highlights here and there. I might try to watch a game of his this season if I can. I don't doubt the kid is good at all. I don't know if he'll be another Archie Manning or Peyton Manning in ability, but I think his signing, again, would be a big signing that would attract other "big starred" talent to continue stockpiling. You think that matters? You think the Manning name doesnt influence the ranking? The kid is definitely good. He's a high 4star at worst regardless of name. And if he is really good in college the name will bring notoriety to the program as well. If recruits come for visits and there’s the Manning clan on the sideline that helps too.
