This year's 2020 team was very, very good......hats off to the entire Ryan community. The Raiders play a very tough schedule.......Denton is located in a hotbed for Texas high school football. In fact......Denton County IS a hotbed in Texas for top quality high school football......there is no shortage of very good athletes performing at the very highest levels. There are many, many teams in Denton County playing across many different classifications that split up the athletes.......I don't even begin to know how many teams there are......lots of them......over 20 for sure. With the new rules hampering the D’s, and wide open offenses, you rarely see a good D, but DR held Cedar Park to 14 points & they’ve been averaging over 50 a game.
